Joy, Thank you! Spending time studying nature has been very rewarding for me in many ways. This painting is of a small pond that I drive by in my daily travels. Sometimes it's hard to "get away" to be in nature, so I'm trying not to miss the simple beauty that's right in front of me. Have a great Autumn!

About Gregory Arnett

Thank you for visiting my gallery here on Fine Art America and Pixels.com. I recently enjoyed a great painting tour through Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and then back to the Adirondacks in New York. So, please check back as I will be adding new paintings from the trip to my gallery. If you have any questions, please email me at greg@gregoryarnett.com. Thanks again, and have a great Spring! Artist Statement: Most of my artwork continues the artist tradition of what I call "the big three" subjects: portrait, landscape and still life. Since moving to the Hudson River Valley in 1999, I've spent more and more time painting the local and regional landscape. The natural environment of the Northeast is too...
